Overview:

Stax are representing a pioneering Robotics Automation startup seeking a dynamic and skilled Solutions Engineer to join their team. This role is a hybrid position, requiring a mix of work at our headquarters and on client sites. The ideal candidate will have a background in one or more of: automation engineering/electrical engineering/robotics/mechatronics, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning and Support:
  • Travel regularly to client sites to commission automation solutions and provide customer support.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of automation systems to ensure they meet client requirements.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting during the commissioning phase and beyond.
  • Customer Success:
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored solutions.
  • Problem Solving and Standards:
  • Approach challenges pragmatically, finding efficient solutions while adhering to existing standards.
  • Initiate and implement new guidelines as necessary to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with various internal functions such as sales, supply chain, and product development to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Documentation and Improvement:
  • Maintain detailed and clear documentation of processes, configurations, and solutions provided to clients.
  • Reflect on feedback from clients and colleagues constructively, using it to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and product offerings.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Initial experience in commissioning automation solutions or similarly complex products.
  • A strong customer-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve client success.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to resolving issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different departments, including sales and supply chain.
  • Structured and methodical work ethic with excellent documentation skills.
  • Constructive attitude towards feedback and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential.
