Senior Account Executive

For nearly 40 years, with offices in 16 counties, Smith has become a leading global distributor and sourcer of electronic components.
As a Senior Account Executive at Smith, you will leverage your sales expertise to strengthen and build your global portfolio and set the foundation for Smith's presence in Germany.
Essential Job Duties:
- Diligent research for customer leads using the internet and other tools.
- Negotiate rates with customers and keep up with market trends.
- Interface with the purchasing and operations teams to stay informed of current inventory.
- Relationship building to establish and manage accounts.
- Qualify leads and requirements from customers.
Competencies:
- Aptitude to connect with customers over the phone, build relationships, and close deals.
- Willingness to make outbound phone calls every day.
- Selfmotivated with attention to detail.
- Committed to customer satisfaction, confidentiality, and ability to manage proprietary data.
- Fluent in English and German
Experience:
- 2+ years of proven sales experience in the electronics industry (manufacturing/ semiconductors)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
