Join Our Team as a Key Account Manager at Amazon Freight

We are searching for a Key Account Manager to unlock and grow our portfolios through sales development, relationship building, engagement activities, and ensuring excellent customer/shipper experiences.

As part of the Business Development team within Amazon Freight's Commercial division, this role focuses on new customer acquisition in the European market. The ideal candidate will attract new businesses, customize our products to fit customer needs, and close deals with impactful shippers for Amazon Freight.


Responsible for developing strategic portfolios, this individual will analyze market data, leverage industry relationships to gather market intelligence, and capitalize on business development opportunities.

The successful candidate will be results-driven, highly analytical, customer-oriented, and willing to put in the work to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire, engage, and accelerate high-potential shippers to Amazon Freight.
  • Maintain proactive engagement with potential customers and identify their challenges.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Advocate for customers to shape product development.
  • Lead initiatives to address customer pain points and enhance the overall experience.
  • Effectively communicate ideas to various audiences through verbal and written means.

About the Team

At Amazon, the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is crucial to our operational success. As part of this diverse team, you will contribute to maximizing the efficiency of Amazon's transport operations using various transport modes and cutting-edge technology.

Amazon Freight (AF) is an innovative B2B start-up within ATS in Europe, offering technology-driven logistics solutions for businesses of all sizes.

We are currently hiring for positions in Berlin, Germany, and Munich, Germany.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree.
  • Experience in a Commercial role (Sales/Account Management).
  • Proficiency in written and verbal German.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience in supply chain, freight industries, or consultancy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience using data to drive business decisions.
  • Knowledge of other EU languages.
