Senior Business Developer

We are seeking a Senior Business Developer to play a crucial role in expanding our portfolios through various sales development tactics, fostering relationships, engaging with customers to ensure an exceptional experience. The ideal candidate will analyze market data to spot trends and opportunities, leverage a broad network within the industry to gather market insight, and capitalize on business development prospects.
This position is part of the Business Development team under Amazon Freight Commercial division. Focused on acquiring new customers in the European market, the New Key Account Manager will be instrumental in attracting new businesses, customizing our offerings to align with customer requirements, and finalizing deals with impactful shippers for Amazon Freight.
You will also be responsible for nurturing our strategic portfolios by building relationships, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction. This role requires a results-driven, analytical professional who is customer-centric and willing to put in the effort to drive business growth.
Key job responsibilitiesAcquire, engage, and accelerate high potential shippers for Amazon Freight.Maintain strong engagement with potential customers and proactively address their challenges.Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio.Advocate for customers to influence product development and enhancements.Lead complex projects to resolve customer issues and enhance their experience through collaboration.Effectively communicate ideas to diverse audiences through various mediums.About the team
The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is vital to Amazon's rapid deliveries. As a part of ATS, you will join a diverse team that plays a pivotal role in the company's success. Utilizing air, sea, and road transport alongside cutting-edge technology in sortation centers, you will contribute to Amazon's logistics efficiency. The team leverages data-driven decisions to innovate and streamline operations, emphasizing safety and sustainability.
Amazon Freight (AF) is a B2B start-up within the European ATS, offering external businesses the opportunity to utilize Amazon's transportation technology for bulk product shipments across the continent. This tech-centric solution caters to the logistics needs of businesses of all sizes and is experiencing exponential growth.
We are considering candidates for placements in Berlin, Germany, or Munich, Germany.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree.
- Proficiency in English and German.
- Commercial experience (Sales/Account Management).
- Expertise in negotiating and executing business agreements.
- Experience in program management, process development, and cross-functional coordination.
- Ability to interpret data and provide business insights.
- Proficient in complex legal agreement negotiations and execution.
- Background in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or distribution.
- Skilled in stakeholder communication at all organizational levels.
- A degree in business management, economics, law, engineering, or supply chain and logistics.
