To support our team at a&o Hostel Hamburg Hbf we are looking for YOU A hardworking and independent student (m/f/x) as kitchen assistant.

We are looking for of enrolled students, working students, temporary student workers, university students and technical college students who would enjoy a part-time job in the hostel.

YOUR JOB

You will be employed in the in kitchen and bar and will actively participate in the day business; including the daily cleaning work Preparation and taking care of the breakfast-, lunch- and dinner-buffet are also amongst your tasks You help with the inventories for the kitchen and bar

YOUR PROFILE

You are officially enrolled at university and have a valid enrolment certificate You enjoy dealing with guests - and you show it, no matter what time of day or night it is You are able to work independently, are highly committed and a team player Your German and English skills are on a B1 level – of course we are happy for every additional language you are able to speak

OUR OFFER

Salary: 12,41€/hour + night supplement Staff members stays for 1 Euro in all a&o hostels Flexible shift scheduling according to your availability Attractive corporate benefits such as discounted leisure activities and events Subsidized language courses Support for your further education in the form of various trainings We work in jeans and a&o polo shirt instead of stiff suits or uniforms Of course we provide drinks, fruit and vegetables on a daily basis – and as hostel staff you can join your team for the warm meals served at the buffet Short decision-making processes and open communication We are very happy to receive your application (resume, copy of your enrollment certificate, earliest possible starting-date).
