Kernauftrag des 1991 gegründeten Wuppertal Instituts ist es, auf der Basis wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse einen Beitrag dafür zu leisten, die globalen Nachhaltigkeitsziele zu erreichen. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf Transformationspfaden in eine klimagerechte und ressourcenschonende Zukunft. Unsere ca. 300 Wissenschaftler*innen und Beschäftigten in Administration, IT und Kommunikation haben es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, den Klimaschutz voranzutreiben und das Zukunftswissen von morgen zu gestalten.
**Ihre Aufgaben**
Sie arbeiten in Forschungs
- und Beratungsprojekten des Forschungsbereichs Mobilität und Verkehrspolitik mit, entwickeln Projektideen und setzen diese eigenverantwortlich um. Der Forschungsbereich Mobilität und Verkehrspolitik innerhalb der Abteilung Energie-, Verkehrs
- und Klimapolitik analysiert Rahmenbedingungen, Strukturen und Trends von Mobilität und Verkehr. Dabei werden Konzepte, Strategien und Maßnahmen entwickelt, erprobt und evaluiert, um die Akteure in Politik und Verwaltung, in Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft, in den Kommunen, Regionen, Ländern und im Bund in ihrem Handeln für ein Gelingen der Verkehrswende zu unterstützen. Die Forschungsprojekte adressieren verschiedene Themenfelder nachhaltiger Verkehrsplanung und -politik, darunter Fuß- und Radverkehr, On-Demand
- und Sharing-Mobilität, ÖPNV, intermodale Integration, Mobilitätsmanagement sowie Elektromobilität. Methodisch umfasst die Arbeit Potenzialabschätzungen, Wirkungs
- und Prozessevaluationen, quantitative und qualitative Erhebungen (u. a. im Rahmen der wissenschaftlichen Begleitung von Reallaboren), die Analyse von Transformationsbedingungen und die Entwicklung von Politikempfehlungen. Nach einer intensiven Einarbeitung werden Sie folgende Aufgaben übernehmen:
- Einwerbung von drittmittelfinanzierten Forschungsvorhaben in Abstimmung mit der Abteilungs
- und Forschungsbereichsleitung, Entwicklung von Projektdesigns und Forschungsmethoden sowie Qualitätssicherung der wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse
- Projektleitung und Projektkoordination von Projektkonsortien mit mehreren Partner*innen
- Mitwirkung an der Weiterentwicklung der Methoden und Themenschwerpunkte des Forschungsbereichs, insbesondere in den Feldern: Potenzialanalyse und Evaluation von verkehrlichen Wirkungen und THG-Minderungen durch Maßnahmen(-pakete) und Politikinstrumente, quantitative Datenanalyse von Mobilitätsdaten und Befragungen
- Vertiefung von Kooperationen mit einschlägigen Forschungseinrichtungen und Praxispartner*innen
- Publikation von Forschungsergebnissen
- interne und externe Kommunikation der Forschungsergebnisse
**Ihr Profil**
- abgeschlossenes Diplom
- oder Masterstudium im Bereich der (Verkehrs-)Ingenieurwissenschaften, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Verkehrs-/Raumplanung, Geographie, Politik-/Sozialwissenschaften, Nachhaltigkeitswissenschaften oder einer verwandten Disziplin
- mindestens drei Jahre Berufserfahrung in der wissenschaftlichen Mobilitäts
- und Verkehrsforschung
- vertiefte Kenntnisse in den Themenbereichen nachhaltige Verkehrsplanung, Sharing
- und On-Demand-Mobilität, Radverkehr, ÖPNV, Bahnverkehr, intermodale Integration, Mobilitätsmanagement, E-Mobilität sowie zum Stand der Forschung zu nachhaltiger Mobilität und Verkehrspolitik
- umfassende Methodenkenntnisse zu Potenzialanalysen und Evaluation von verkehrlichen Wirkungen und THG-Minderungen, quantitativer Datenanalyse von Mobilitätsdaten/-befragungen, Szenarien und Modellierung
- Erfahrungen in der Bearbeitung inter
- und transdisziplinärer Forschungsprojekte
- Erfahrungen in der drittmittelfinanzierten Projektakquise, der Projektleitung und -koordination sowie der Anleitung von Projektteams
- professioneller Umgang mit MS Office-Programmen und fundierte Kenntnisse mit statistischer Auswertungssoftware bzw. Datenbanksystemen
- verhandlungssichere Deutsch
