What you're keen to doHardware Design Collaboration: Collaborate with hardware engineers in the design and development of hardware components for robotic systems, ensuring seamless integration of electrical and hardware elements.System Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware components into robotic platforms, considering electrical and hardware requirements.Prototyping and Testing: Participate in prototyping activities and conduct rigorous testing to validate the functionality and performance of hardware components.Hardware Debugging: Identify and resolve hardware issues through systematic debugging processes, collaborating with the broader team to implement solutions.Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for hardware designs, specifications, and testing procedures to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations for hardware improvements and optimizations.Problem-Solving: Apply strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize hardware performance.What we're looking for~3 years of experience working as a hardware engineer in a robotics company, preferably with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) or similar robotic systems.Proven experience in designing and developing hardware for robotic systems or similar complex electronic systems. Knowledge of hardware safety standards such as ISO 60204, ISO 12100, ISO/TR 3691-4, and ISO Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Proficient in reading and creating EPLANs (Electric P8) for comprehensive documentation and design schematics.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in hardware robotics foundations, including:
  • Battery Management Systems (BMS) for efficient power distribution and management.
  • Motors and drive systems, with expertise in selecting, integrating, and optimizing motor control solutions.
  • Vision sensors such as Lidars and cameras, with a focus on integration for perception and navigation systems.
  • Control systems design and implementation, ensuring precise and efficient robotic movements.
  • Understanding of communication protocols commonly used in robotic systems.
