ABOUT CODASIP:

Codasip was created in 2014 with the goal of simplifying, accelerating, and reducing the cost of processor design by bringing together the expertise of microprocessor architects and software engineers and incorporating it into tools. The company aims at making processor design accessible by leveraging the CodAL architecture description language. Today, Codasip is a prominent provider of processing solutions for IC designers, offering products based on open standards such as RISC-V ISA, LLVM, and UVM. As a founding member of RISC-V International, Codasip was the first to offer a commercial RISC-V IP core in 2015. OUR R&D LOCATIONS:

Our Verification and IP Design Engineers are based in our R&D and Design Centers across various cities in Europe. Currently, we are seeking to expand our team in Munich, where our office is conveniently situated near the city center, offering easy access to public transport. In Munich, you will collaborate closely with Christoph Schade - our HW Verification Engineer and Team Leader.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Conduct verification of modern RISC-V processors and components to enhance deliverable quality
  • Develop pre-silicon verification environments, automated tests, and checkers
  • Devise generic solutions and streamline processes through automation
  • Identify bugs using advanced algorithms
  • Propose and implement enhancements, automation, or upgrades to our technologies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Passion for electronics or embedded software
  • Experience in HW verification, simulation tools, formal methods like UVM
  • Proficiency in versioning tools (preferably Git) and Linux
  • Ability in software development (C++ or Python)
  • Advanced English language skills (CEFR level B2 or higher)
  • Curiosity to continually learn, a keen interest in the field, and self-motivation
  • Strong organizational skills and reliability

VALUED SKILLS:

  • Interest in contributing to the future of RISC-V technology
  • Familiarity with HDL languages (Verilog, VHDL, or System Verilog)
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming
  • Engagement in DIY projects related to open-source software, home automation, robotics, etc.
  • Degree in a relevant field (Microelectronics, HW design, Embedded SW, Robotics, etc.)
