Let's talk about the role of Senior Director, Cell Line Development at Cytiva. In this position, you will lead the viral vector cell line development business, focusing on continuous enhancement and ensuring sustainable growth.
What you will be responsible for:
- Guide a smooth transition into Cytiva and Danaher by providing leadership across functions while preserving Cevec's innovative culture
- Oversee the cell line development team to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of customer projects and handle customer audits
- Inspire a culture of continuous improvement within your team using DBS to maintain our leadership in cell line development
- Offer direction and guidance to all site personnel
- Advance talent management processes to foster the growth of your team. Collaborate with HR to enhance organizational capabilities through various strategies aligned with business objectives
- Effectively communicate values, strategies, and goals within the organization, engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, implementing protocols to safeguard employees and the surroundings
- Master's Degree, Ph.D., or equivalent in life sciences with over 15 years of experience in commercial roles, product development, strategic planning, and general management within the Life Sciences industry
- Proven ability to make data-driven decisions, develop business cases, and engage with key stakeholders
- Experience in financial modeling, customer relationship building, and interaction with global leaders
- A seasoned leader with expertise in business and talent development, including leading expert teams and senior leadership
- Knowledge in Viral Vector/ Genomic Medicine workflows and value propositions
- Prior involvement in leading cell line development teams
