Our client provides business solutions to their thousands on international clients- priding themselves on ease of experience, trust, and extensive industry expertise.

They are on the search for a Business Operations Director to join their team in Frankfurt, with a focus on Business Development, Client Engagement, and Financial Risk Management. This is a senior management position suitable for someone with a deep understanding of compliance and strategy within the German Finance Sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations.
  • Lead and participate in customer proposal efforts.
  • Play a role in business growth, enhancing client service and satisfaction.
  • Evaluate client relationships to ensure satisfaction and uncover opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of their vision and strategy in Germany.
  • and present regular business reports to the Board and relevant committees.
  • Develop and sustain a Risk and Compliance function.
  • Provide legal guidance on client-related matters and transactions.
  • Oversee client entities as relationship managers or directors.
  • Identify and recommend policy and procedure improvements.
  • Manage resource planning and recruitment efforts.
  • Adhere to company policies and professional standards, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of integrity risks in the German financial sector.
  • Methodical and precise approach to work.
  • Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.
  • Adaptable and open-minded personality.
  • Master's degree in accounting, law, fiscal matters, or equivalent
  • Deep knowledge of legal compliance for the trust sector.
  • Proficiency in AML/CFT and Sanction laws, German corporate law, contract drafting, client relationships, claim handling, and managing complex processes.
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and German.

Additional Experience

  • with international business transactions and structuring.
  • experience in international finance, including handling funds and real estate.
  • in international contract law with connections in financial, business, legal, and compliance fields- it expected to have extensive networking and referral capabilities.
