Compulsory internship in the Interior Development department from July 2024

Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
Our interior trim department (VAN/EKI) is responsible for the development of all interior components such as cockpit, seats, interior trim, as well as CAE simulation and passive safety. We look after all current and future Mercedes-Benz Vans model series.
The Interior Development team is responsible for the interior development activities across all VAN model series.
This includes the existing Sprinter, V-Class, Vito, Marco Polo and Citan products as well as the new product project VAN.EA.
In the course of our continuous innovation, we are looking for a dedicated intern to support our team in the area of interior development and project management and to contribute to the design of our future vehicle generations. Achieving the project goals within the defined budget, schedule and functional framework in close coordination with the project, various specialist departments and module groups is an essential part of this.

Operational support of the team in daily tasks and projects Active support in project management of the module groups, including planning and monitoring of project milestones Participation in the management, coordination and feedback on ongoing work assignments in the project, the module group and the team Preparation of reports and decision papers for management Preparation and follow-up of committees and workshops as well as the organization and coordination of appointments Supporting the coordination and management of prototype setups and the development of interior concepts Qualifikationen Degree in industrial engineering, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study Knowledge of Siemens NX is an advantage Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint Confident written and spoken German and English skillsPersonal skills:
