In the 1950s, global trade changed for good. The invention of the standardized container suddenly meant that transporting goods across the world became affordable. And with that, paved the way for globalization and global wealth.

But contrary to the container, most surrounding processes have not been standardized nor innovated—and are still frustratingly complex, manual, and error-prone.


That's why our ambition is to use technology to simplify the logistics of global trade, making the processes around the container as simple as the container itself.

We do that by providing a neutral infrastructure that connects all logistics companies to remove friction and create economic opportunity.


Account executive (f/m/d)**As an Account Executive, your focus will be B2B sales of our SaaS platform, where you are responsible for the entire sales journey, from prospecting to closing deals. This includes finding new opportunities, conducting demos to present the xChange platform and leveraging your negotiation skills to close them as a new paying client for xChange. When a deal is closed, our Customer Success team handles the onboarding and helps make them successful with us.


As you will be targeting our Mandarin-speaking market, you will need to be fluent in Mandarin and, ideally have experience working with Mandarin-speaking clients.


Your tasks:

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients within Salesforce, booking meetings with them to demo the xChange platform and ultimately closing them
  • Build a strong network within the industry, fostering relationships that can be converted into paying clients in the future
  • Develop a deep understanding of xChange's products and services, as well as the industries and markets we serve
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, bringing in new monthly recurring revenue, driving the success of xChange

Your profile:

  • Ideally initial experience in a Sales or Business Development role prior experience in logistics and SaaS is, of course, a plus but not a must have
  • You are a 'transactional' sales machine with solid experience closing a high volume of deals
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills you should be a great writer, speaker, and listener, able to keep the enthusiasm levels high throughout all demo's
  • You have a strong personal drive with the ambition to be a top performer in the team
  • Intellectual horsepower you'll need to become an expert in container logistics and international trade in a matter of weeks, and the curiosity to keep learning about all its nuances for years to come
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must and all other languages are a big plus
