We are looking for a Banking Operations Clerk (f/m/d) for an international banking company based in Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible.
The entry takes place within the framework of temporary employment; you therefore receive a permanent work contract from Robert Half. Your Responsibilities as Banking Operations Clerk (f/m/d)
- Overseeing Collateral operations activities outsourced to other State Street locations
- Performing operational activities such as margining, collateral settlement, reconciliations or dispute resolution
- Collaborating with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues and exceptions
- Contributing as subject matter expert to change processes and internal projects
- Working together with clients and other internal/external parties to improve and enhance processes
- Supporting audits, risk assessments and compliance initiatives by providing relevant data as well as new ideas
Your Qualification and Skills
- Strong sense of quality and commitment to interact with internal or external clients effectively and professionally
- Strong communication skills and service orientation
- Ability to work under pressure (e.g. meeting deadlines, adopting and implementing changes)
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree with a focus on business and financial topics or comparable apprenticeship
- Several years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably within collateral management, operations oversight and/or client services
- Knowledge of financial instruments and the regulatory framework in regards to Collateral industry (e.g. EMIR)
- Proficiency in English and German
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, PowerBI preferred
