Director, Rave Isp Management

The Director RAVE ISP Management is responsible for managing business development and Type Approval Program activities for the connectivity product line.
This will include coordination with the various connectivity service provider partners on expanding revenues through the acquisition of new customers and expanding business offerings on existing customers.
This individual will lead various connectivity product line projects and business developments to ensure they align with corporate goals and objectives, along with adhere to the expectations of our connectivity partners and customersMain Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead the TA program management activities and provide direction to the staff in this organization
- Ensure RAVE connectivity product line complies with Telecommunication Regulatory Standards.
- Support Homologation for countries where it is required by our customers
- Improve and maintain connectivity service provider relationships to foster increased sales and expansion of the connectivity product line.
- Support and implement customer engagement strategies, sales strategy, pricing policy and marketing strategy for the connectivity product line to increase revenue growth.
- Participate and lead activities to expand the connectivity product portfolio.
- Closely coordinate with other Safran teams and partners to ensure a unified vision for the connectivity business.
- Develop systems, processes, and tools to better support the product line vision, along with enabling the various company organizations to align with that vision.
- Work with internal stakeholders and ISP partners to foster an open communication channel to drive the project execution to the plan
- Own business cases and drive new opportunities for applicable products and partnerships
- Support product introduction and planning cycles with the various internal and external parties, such as aircraft OEMs.
- Coaching and mentoring of the team, providing employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems
- Train and instruct employees in job duties (technical, nontechnical)
- Be the main contact point for employees for feedback, problems, escalation and strategic decision
- Conduct feedback meetings and annual reviews
- Identify, plan and request department and individual training needs
- Create, maintain, and adhere to the team budget
- Identify, plan and request personnel resources for the team
- Evaluate employees' job performance and recommend and participate to personnel actions, such as hiring, termination, promotions
- Be a role model: Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution, and enforce professional behavior, expectations, and group values
- Continuously contribute to improve established processes
Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
- 10+ year of successful direct experience in IFE, avionics or aircraft cabin systems
- 7 years of experience working in a Management role
- 35 years of experience establishing budgets
- Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft system architectures and familiar with IFEC technologies.
- Proven leadership capabilities and performance.
- Commercial understanding of customer issues and how the connectivity product line creates a compelling value proposition that aligns with customer needs.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and performance
- Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups of people
