Summary

This position is located in the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Inspector General (OIG), Mission Support Team (MST), Logistics Management Office (LMO), Overseas Logistics Support Division (OLSD). The incumbent serves as a logistics management specialist responsible for the development and management of logistics operations and services to support DoD OIG personnel assigned to locations outside the continental United States (OCONUS).



Duties
  • Plans and implements logistics programs to support agency personnel including lease management; transportation management, personnel movement and security; supply and warehousing; office space and billeting; and general logistics support.
  • Manages transportation and personnel movement including acquisition, maintenance, fueling, garaging and operation of armored and unarmored vehicles. Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative. Coordinates distinguished visitor support.
  • Identifies office and billeting requirements for agency personnel. Serves as the on-site single point of contact for acquisition and furnishing of office space; installation and maintenance of equipment; and related support services.
  • Serves as the critical incident specialist and collateral duty safety representative. Conducts personnel accountability. Coordinates medical evacuation and emergency leave support for agency personnel.
  • Serves as the property custodian for all agency-issued equipment and resources and conducts property reconciliation at assigned locations. Coordinates resolution of phone and IT equipment issuance/imaging, server, and connectivity matters.
