Job Title: Site Manager - Power Plant (Steam Turbines)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee operations for a major power plant facility based in Germany. This role requires an individual with a strong background in steam turbine technology and a proven track record in effectively managing power plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Site Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the power plant facility, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of steam turbine systems.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize plant performance and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize equipment inspections, repairs, and overhauls.
- Monitor plant performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet production targets and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide leadership and direction to a diverse team of operators, technicians, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement among the site team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to enhance team capabilities.

Technical Expertise:
- Serve as the primary technical expert on steam turbine systems, providing guidance and troubleshooting support to resolve complex operational issues.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to power plant operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate system upgrades and modifications aimed at enhancing plant efficiency and reliability.

Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations governing power plant operations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support regulatory reporting requirements.
- Interface with regulatory agencies and auditors as necessary to address compliance issues and ensure adherence to standards.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide regular updates on plant performance, operational challenges, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in power plant operations, with a focus on steam turbine systems.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and develop teams.
- Strong technical expertise in steam turbine technology, including troubleshooting and maintenance best practices.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
