Strategy Lead Consumer Electronics

Our performance-focused strategy team is seeking a Strategy Lead for the Consumer Electronics category to take charge of developing customer-centric strategy and driving structured recommendations into action, collaborating with partners from across the organisation. In this role you will have an opportunity to shape the trajectory of a pivotal category across our six core European markets and influence the future direction of our marketplaces.

Reporting to the Head of Category Strategy, this hybrid role can be based in any of our five European hubs – Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Paris, or Barcelona.

What you'll do:

Drive strategy development for the Consumer Electronics category. Define market potential and category ambition, identify core user needs and design relevant value proposition. 

Utilise data and analytics to enable informed data-driven decisions centered around customer needs and strategic outcomes.

Develop and utilise financial models to assess the impact of category strategy on performance.

Translate strategy into actionable recommendations and go-to-market plans and lead growth-focused execution in collaboration with global teams and local markets.

Secure and develop relationships with relevant partners to support execution of the category strategies. Analyse business opportunities, including M&A.

Develop insightful market intelligence on main category trends (technology, competitors, consumers) and their strategic implications.

Who you are:

You have an advanced degree, such as a Master's, MBA or similar.

You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in management consulting or in-house strategy teams. Experience in marketplaces / tech / e-commerce is a plus. 

You have an ability to bring structure to solving ambiguous problems, develop and validate hypotheses and derive actionable recommendations supported by data and analysis.

You have an ability to engage in constructive dialog with different levels of partners and colleagues.

You are proactive and comfortable working independently within a dispersed collaborative matrix organisational structure. 

You have excellent English skills, both verbal and written.

You are collaborative, fun, and easy to work with

For this role we do require that the new hire is currently a resident of Spain, Germany, France, Netherlands or Italy and you are entitled to work there (EU citizen, in possession of VISA, residence permit etc.)
