Business Development Intern

We're JOIN, a tech company that's shaping the future of recruiting. Based in vibrant Berlin, Germany, our team is seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the HR tech industry, focusing on partnership initiatives. As a Business Development Intern, you'll collaborate closely with our Partnerships Manager and Management Team/CEO, contributing to the expansion of our international partnerships portfolio and driving company growth.
TasksPartner Acquisition:
- Assist in identifying and researching potential partners, including HR technology companies, industry associations, and service providers in the HR industry.
- Support the development of acquisition strategies for potential partners and establish meaningful relationships.
- Assist in crafting partnership proposals and presentations tailored to the needs and interests of prospective and existing partners.
Partnership Development:
- Collaborate with the Partnerships Manager to negotiate partnership agreements and terms.
- Support the onboarding process for new partners, including coordinating meetings, sharing relevant resources, and facilitating introductions to key stakeholders.
- Assist in developing joint promotional campaigns and marketing materials to promote partnership initiatives and drive revenue.
Relationship Management:
- Be a point of contact for existing partners, responding to inquiries and providing support as needed, fostering our relationship.
- Help maintain accurate records of partner interactions and agreements in CRM systems or databases.
- Assist in organizing partnership events, webinars, and other activities to boost engagement and collaboration potential.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities related to partnership development.
- Analyze data and insights to identify potential areas for partnership growth and optimization.
- Assist in preparing internal reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the Partnerships Manager, Management Team and other stakeholders.
- Assist with other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Partnerships Manager or other team members.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Law, IT or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Prior experience in partnership development, business development, or related fields is a plus.
- Passion for startups and the HR tech industry.
- Interest in learning about partnership strategies and practices.
- A competitive monthly pay of EUR 2,500 is offered for a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week over a 6-month duration, with potential for extension.
- Modern office equipment with Standing Desk and the choice between Macbook Pro or PC.

- Work in our design office located in the famous Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg, in the heart of Berlin
- Working closely with our Partner Manager and experienced Management Team as your mentors. Regular team events, company events, breakfast or lunch sponsored by the company.
- Enjoy flexibility with our hybrid work approach: If you work in the office as an employee (3 days a week), you'll receive an annual mobility budget of €600 for either Rydes or a BVG card.
