As a Field Service Technician, you will be the first point of contact for our customers regarding technical issues and problems. Your main task is to provide technical support both on-site at customers' locations and internally. This includes commissioning, installation, maintenance, consulting, and training customers, as well as handling warranty and paid service work. Provide technical customer support and assistance (both internal and external).
Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions.
Previous experience in technical service is an advantage.
Curiosity and willingness to learn, with the perspective of growing into a combined service and sales role, where you will sell FAM Stumabo machines and conduct demonstrations of our cutting machines.
Your base is in Niederzissen, but we expect flexibility and the willingness to travel throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to support customers (a Class B driver's license is required).Excellent command of the German language, both written and spoken.
Good knowledge of English for internal communication with colleagues at the headquarters in Belgium.
