Desitin has significant expertise in medication for treating epilepsy and Parkinsons disease and offers nearly all of the antiseizure drugs listed in the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. In Germany, over 150,000 epilepsy patients are being treated with drugs provided by Desitin – which is more than the drugs provided by any other pharmaceutical company. Desitin also develops medication for rare diseases and supplements its portfolio with proven over-the-counter drugs sold by pharmacies. With a history spanning over 100 years, Desitin has become synonymous with innovation and tradition for the benefit of patients, and as a company with a solid sense of responsibility for its employees.Head of Commercial Operations (m/w/d)Working time: full timeYour rolethe formulation and implementation of innovative strategies in the areas of Business Intelligence & Commercial Analytics, Market Access & Pricing, Customer Service, CRM, as well as tender managementthe planning, management and controlling of workflows in the business processesidentifying areas for process improvement, establishing workflows that serve as blueprints for more scalable solutionsresults-orientated management and development of your employeesoptimising data and reporting, including the management and tracking of KPIsproviding strategic and tactical guidance for the annual planning of the affiliates as well as responsibility for the global implementation and evaluation of the various planning and forecasting roundsevaluating and presenting business cases and cost/benefit analyses as a basis for sound business decisionsoptimising pricing strategies to maximise sales revenue (launch prices, reference pricing, active management of discounts, etc.)collaboration with the global marketing and digital teams to identify and implement technologies and platforms that improve the customer experience and increase internal efficiencydeveloping appropriate system processes, methodologies and metrics and effectively utilise technology and relevant data to track performance and inform key stakeholdersyou will work cross-functionally with our subsidiaries as well as Sales, Global Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, IT and Business DevelopmentExperience & qualificationsa degree in business administration>8 years of management/leadership experience (team and project management), preferably in the pharmaceutical industry (generics experience desirable)you are a strategic and innovative thinker and operational doer who thinks beyond established norms and proceduresyou are a strong project manager who can focus on the essentials, prioritise, delve into the details and turn the unclear into actionable plansyou are an entrepreneurial and responsible colleague who is measured by resultsyou love to spend your time on metrics and analyses, you consider yourself an expert in spreadsheets and dashboards and know what data you need to collect to make decisionsentrepreneurial thinking with the ability to build a compelling business case based on structured analysis of multiple factors e.g. volume, value, risk, price referencing, stakeholder managementcommercial acumen with a clear customer focus and the ability to change strategic plans according to market dynamics and changing internal requirementsyou have strong communication and collaboration skills: You liaise with all levels of the wider business teams across the organisationyou are familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and can quickly familiarise yourself with new toolsfluency in written and spoken English, sound knowledge of German is desirableWhat we offerAn attractive and competitive salaryFlexible working arrangementsInteresting work with scope for creativity and autonomyProfessional development support and trainingWide range of corporate well-being & fitness programsCanteen offering a healthy and varied range of foodsA Desitin public transport allowance for the HVV-ProfiTicket andPlenty of free parking on our premisesContactInterested?
