The leukocyte adhesion laboratory under the guidance of Prof. In detail, this new project addresses the role of neutrophils during acute kidney injury and subsequent secondary organ damage.
Engage in collaborative research within the CRC1450 inSight network

University degree with doctorate in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedicine or other Life Sciences
Strong knowledge in molecular biology, biochemical and immunological techniques such as western blot, flow cytometry, cell culture, ELISA, or stimulation assays
Competence to establish new methods, to analyse and critically reflect scientific data
Very good English language skills
Participation and contribution to scientific group meetings, network meetings and international conferences
Encouragement and support for the preparation of research papers and scientific networking
Connection to structured further education opportunities (Medical scientist programme InFlame)
