Finance Business Analyst

Are you motivated by combining your finance expertise with the renewable energy transition contributing to a more sustainable tomorrow? The Financial Performance and Governance team is responsible for consolidating, analysing, and reporting on the business performance connecting the financial dots of the North and Central European (NCE) region of Vestas. The department is responsible for the governance of the planning process and serves as a focal point between the business segments, management, and the regional CFO.

As Business Analyst, you will focus on coordinating the planning process while carrying out in-depth analysis to support, steer and drive the financial agenda of the region. You will be a key interface to the Business Performance Management teams (within Power Solutions and Service), ensuring transparent alignment and coherence across the organisation with the purpose of providing analysis and solutions allowing for sound decision making. Regularly being tasked with ad-hoc activities stemming from the CFO agenda, you actively drive awareness and ensure momentum in order to provide and deliver the necessary insights or results across the business.
Responsibilities
Coordination and orchestration of the financial planning, reporting, and controlling (including the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of all relevant KPIs) across the regional business segments Perform in-depth business analysis to spot opportunities and support regional management with sound decision making Set and implement standards and harmonization throughout the organisation and drive a positive change process in the finance and controlling area, i.e., strategy and budgeting Key contributor in continued process improvement and digitalisation of the regional financial processes supporting our scalability journey in an efficient way, i.e., governance of collaboration with shared service centre and implementation of new forecast methodology concept You support the financial leadership team and act as an interface to the global financial planning team for regional deliverablesQualifications
You hold a master's degree within Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar You are a highly competent finance individual who has gained at least 3 years experience in commercial business topics, controlling and accounting with an emphasis on financial planning and reporting You possess excellent digital skills and are motivated to work with data and visualisations both through traditional methods (Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP) while additional tools are considered a plus (e.g., Anaplan, PowerBI, PowerQuery, Alteryx, VBA, SQL etc.) You have excellent English skills, both orally and in writingCompetencies
You are a highly motivated team player, who possess good inter-personal and excellent communication skills enabling you to create collaborative working relationship with people across cultures and organisational levels You are analytical, result-oriented, and passionate regarding numbers and have an eye for details while possessing excellent time management skills You have a creative mindset that strives to optimize processes and financial solutions with the desire to promote our scalability and transformational journey You are willing to take ownership and are motivated by change, complexity, and diversity You possess the ability to drive a change project with high complexity and to overcome resistance in the organisation What we offer
