Regional Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering Manager

As the RME Manager, you will be a key member of the wider RME team and are responsible for ensuring that our equipment and systems operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. You will lead a team of experienced professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams across your network to optimize equipment performance and reduce costs.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing maintenance operations in an industrial or manufacturing environment, as well as a passion for innovation, customer focus, and operational excellence. You will bring a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems. As a regional RME Manager, you demonstrate a high level of technical expertise, senior leadership skills, and strategic thinking to effectively manage the cluster of sites. This role is expected to focus on standardization initiatives across the sites to ensure consistency and efficiency.
You will be a role model in setting a high bar for performance within their team, supported by SMART goals for each team member. A strong and engaging people manager who understands that success is delivered when the team is fully engaged on common goals and that success is measured by internal and external customer satisfaction.
This role will require frequent site visits to build and maintain the relationship with the onsite teams, however you will have working time flexibility.
Key job responsibilities
•Leading and developing a team of managers, maintenance technicians and engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and systems.
•Managing the maintenance program for all equipment and systems, including creating preventative maintenance plans and schedules.
•Identifying and addressing equipment and system failures and developing root cause analysis plans to prevent future failures.
•Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve equipment and system reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize equipment performance.
•Developing and managing the departmental budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources to meet operational and financial goals.
•Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including environmental, health, and safety regulations.
•Communicating regularly with regional leader, the managing director, senior management and stakeholders to provide updates on the roadmaps, equipment and system performance, maintenance activities, and improvement initiatives.
•Participating in the development and implementation of new equipment and systems, providing input on reliability and maintainability requirements.
•Lead regional programs and initiatives, collaborating with other sites and teams across the region to identify and share best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, or experience at Amazon- Experience in employee and performance management
- Experience in distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field
- Experience in facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards- Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls , industrial electronics
