What you will experience in this position:

In Europe, Hoffman is having a strong position in the industrial and commercial building market. Our product offering is best explained as “a comprehensive range of standard products and accessories, with modification possibilities through Express Customization and Advanced Customization”. Some 80% of our sales in any of our home markets go to wholesalers and panel builders. This role is covering South Germany and frequent travel for customer visits is encouraged.

You will be responsible for:

  • Close deals by applying the Sales Process

  • Sales development

  • Manage your portfolio meaning that prospects and customers are properly segmented (Type of Buyer, Customer Group and Vertical) so that Marketing Communications can provide relevant communications materials

  • Make sure these customer groups are happy with the service provided, so that they work with us when your demand creation has been successful. This includes creating demand with machine builders and system integrators and getting specified by end-users

  • Work closely with channel partners in your region and do joint visits and customer product training.

  • Use CRM daily basis where activities, sales funnel and customer platform are recorded

  • Ensure to share improvement opportunities when it comes to the product portfolio, sales tools, etc. with the Sales Manager. The Account Manager should refrain from development activities to ensure his/her time is spent on the above responsibilities.

YOU HAVE:

  • Ideally 2+ years experience in B2B sales.

  • Fluency in German and English

  • Ability to work out of a home office

  • A current and valid driver’s license is required.

  • You are resilient & proactive, a true hunter
