The Global People Services in Vestas is looking for a proven people leader to guide our payroll teams across 5 regions into the next stage of our global payroll transformation.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Proven experience as an international payroll leader manager with a focus on managing payroll operations across multiple locations and regions Proven experience in managing payroll transformations to shared service centers and third party providers In-depth knowledge of legislation and regulations related to payroll across different countries Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead a global team and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization Proven continuous improvement skills and experienceCompetencies
Collaborating with local payroll teams, external payroll service providers and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll delivery Ensuring consistency and standardization so employees are paid timely & accurately, through a compliant process, including salary calculations, deductions and statutory contributions Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure that payroll processes support the company's strategic objectives Developing and implementing best practices in global payroll administration, including managing large global vendors in a largely outsourced setup, ensuring vendors are delivering efficient and effective services aligned with contractual terms and condition Identifying risks and opportunities in payroll administration and developing strategies for risk management and optimization.
