At the Mercedes-Benz plant in Untertürkheim, we build the heart of our automobiles: high-quality and pioneering engines, transmissions and axles for all Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and vans. Every day, our dedicated employees contribute their knowledge and skills to the further development and production of the latest drive technologies. In Hedelfingen, we are also actively working on our company's Electric Only strategy and are aligning the battery factory accordingly for the future of the automobile. The future is also currently growing in Brühl in the form of a battery factory.
The Battery and Transmission Production Supply (PT/SCV) department is responsible for operational transmission and battery logistics at the Hedelfingen and Brühl sites. The Production Supply and LDL Control team is responsible for the timely supply of materials for assembly and production. The support and management of LDL, cost controlling and the operational management of production and assembly are part of our core tasks.

These are some of the challenges you will face:
Collaboration in the development, evaluation and implementation of new logistics processes and forms of delivery Developing process optimizations in the supply chain using modern process methodologies Collaboration on current logistics projects After familiarization: processing of small sub-projects possible Development and comparison of key figures for service provider monitoring and performance tracking/monitoring Assistance with the logistical planning of arrivals and departures Creation of standard worksheets, process description Participation in the continuous improvement process (CIP) Qualifikationen Degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study (preferably with a focus on logistics) Proficient in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office Ability to communicate and work in a team Quick comprehension and understanding of complex processes Flexibility and organizational skillsPlease note that your internship at this location must include a mandatory component.
