Bodybuilders are highly specialized companies that individually modify our vans according to customer requirements after they have left the Mercedes-Benz Vans plant. The product range extends from vehicles for passenger transportation, CEP and logistics, construction and trade to refrigerated vehicles for delivery services and many more. At VAN/VMA, we support our international partners in all topics along the value chain of bodies and conversions relating to the Mercedes-Benz Vans portfolio. We are responsible for the proactive design of ABH-specific requirements, the creation of marketing concepts across all instruments of the marketing mix, as well as international regional and key account management for a wide range of markets and sectors worldwide. We also develop future-oriented product solutions in co-creation with our partners, such as "Hello Fresh" or "Amazon", which inspire our customers and help them to succeed in their respective industries.
Your future "Product and Marketing" team will represent the industry/bodybuilder requirements throughout the product development process for new product projects and across the entire lifecycle for all model series and drive concepts, thus ensuring that the basic vehicles are easy to convert.
Another area of responsibility is the strategic planning and implementation of industry-specific marketing concepts for product solutions in the single- and dual-bill business. The focus here is on active communication via print and film media and the promotion of body solutions. Pushing and further developing the Mercedes-Benz Conversion World end customer platform and professionalizing the Mercedes-Benz VanPartner and Mercedes-Benz VanSolution Partner programs also play an important role.
These are some of the challenges you will face Collaboration in the concept development of MB Vans new/product projects in ABH product management, in particular support for the VAN.EA project Collaboration in the proactive design of ABH-specific requirements and control of the entire Mercedes-Benz Vans vehicle portfolio Taking an active role in the creation of marketing communication measures Collaboration in the strategic planning and implementation of industry-specific marketing concepts for product solutions Collaboration in the optimization and marketing of the B2C platform Conversion World with industry solutions for end customers Participation in the planning, conception and implementation of international trade fairs and events Developing competitive analyses and deriving recommendations for action Collaboration on other topics - e.g. preparation and implementation of workshops and committees Communication with international subsidiaries Qualifikationen Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, industrial engineering, preferably with a focus on marketing, international business, automotive industry or a comparable course of study Proficient in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical and strategic way of thinking and working Intercultural competence and opennessAdditional information:
