Technical Service Manager Fruits

The Role
As Technical Service Manager , your role is to support our business by providing hands-on and remote support to Fruit Processing customers, in close collaboration with the global sales team. You will participate in developing and maintaining strong relationships to our customers as well as planning, running factory trials and identifying business opportunities.
You will be responsible for:
Serve as the primary contact point and provide comprehensive support to fruit and vegetable processing customers, partners, and distributors, both remotely and on-site Actively drive customer projects to contribute to the growth of the Fruits business Work in tandem with the global sales team to deliver competitive solutions for customers in all relevant applications such as Fruit Juice, Wine making or Fruit Firming Plan, supervise, and evaluate industrial-scale trials at customer sites, ensuring seamless execution and valuable insights Capture, document, and effectively communicate all industrial application activities to the team Work closely with Application Development team in planning, developing and deploying application ideas/processes in laboratory trials to strengthen internal application know-how by mimicking industrial processes Identify and explore new business opportunities through market insight, customer engagement, and comprehensive analysis of the AB Enzymes portfolio against competitor offering Provide high-level input for R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing and other stakeholders within AB Enzymes when application expertise is required
About You
We are looking for a customer-focused outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are a team player and you have proven technical project management skills.
Furthermore:
You have a degree in Food or Beverage Technology, Process Engineering or a related field You have at least 5 years' experience in the field of fruit juice production. Experience in the application of enzymes is an asset You can effectively translate between technology and customer needs, technically and commercially. You show flexibility, team spirit, customer-focus and results orientation You are a good presenter who can demonstrate complex topics in a clear and structured way You are willing to work remotely with the global teams across different time zones You are willing and capable to travel globally (20-30% of the time) You have very good English skills (written and oral)
