Due to this growth we are expanding the Accounting team and we are looking for a Senior Internal Control and Process Improvement Specialist who will set up and implement an internal control framework to minimize financial risks. About the role

In this new role you will focus on enhancing our internal control framework and optimizing financial processes across our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing internal controls, leading strategic projects within the Accounting department, and serving as the bridge between the accounting team and our internal ERP/IT team. You will drive change, coordinate initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement to ensure that our operations are aligned with best practices in risk management and compliance.

What you will do:

• Design and implement an internal control framework within the Redcare organization to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
• Lead the implementation of strategic projects within the Accounting department, from inception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives
• Innovate by identifying opportunities for process optimization and control enhancement, and spearhead initiatives to drive positive change
• Improve process control awareness and documentation across Finance as part of our first-line risk management initiative
• Serve as the key liaison between the accounting team and our internal ERP/IT team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration

About you

The ideal candidate has expertise in accounting, internal controls and project management. We are looking for an innovator who constantly seeks opportunities for improvement and drives positive change within the organization.

• Bachelor/Master degree in Business, Accounting & Control, Economics or Finance
• You have a solid knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, risk management and a proven track record of leading projects in these areas
• Preferably you have an audit background from one of the Big Four accounting firms
• Excellent analytical skills that will allow you to swiftly understand underlying issues in combination with a pragmatic approach that will allow you to suggest and support your colleagues with process optimization and technological improvement solutions
