Mission of the Role: The Senior Manager of Product Management at Visteon drives profitable growth and competitiveness in Display production. Leads product strategy, customer engagement, and technology innovation, creating roadmaps aligned with market trends. Collaborates closely with engineering and sales, ensuring market share expansion.

Key Objectives of this Role:

Strategic Roadmap & Visionary Leadership:

Develop a comprehensive and forward-thinking Display product roadmap that aligns with the company's overall mobility strategy; Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for new display technologies and their integration into various mobility solutions, ensuring our product remains at the cutting edge; Support creative marketing of products to help improve Visteon’s brand recognition; Master the value chain, identify, and develop relationships with key ecosystem partners that are critical to the success of the product line; Grow product line profitably, develop customer relationships, and drive new technology/product development projects with various OEMs.

Define product segment and technology roadmaps:

Engage with Engineering and suppliers to define technology roadmap requirements; Develop and drive market-driven product technology roadmaps and work closely with engineering teams for the implementation of the roadmap; Define future technologies and timing for the different market segments; Develop a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition to product launch; Ensure development and execution of proof-of-concept projects to develop innovative technical solutions for the products; Communicate product strategy with clarity and purpose to all internal and external stakeholders.

Ecosystem Partnerships :

Foster strong partnerships with engineering, design, marketing, and CBG teams to ensure seamless product development, from concept to launch; Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to create mutually beneficial alliances that accelerate the development & adoption of innovative display technologies; Proactively meet with automotive OEMs – existing customers and others – to understand their problems, and requirements and explain Visteon’s product strategy; Engage with key suppliers especially LCD, LCD drivers, touch panels, cover lenses, and related technology providers to have a competitive edge in the market and be a market-recognized technology leader.

Market and Customer Insights :

Stay attuned to emerging display technologies, market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to create products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations; Encourage a culture of innovation within the product management team. Identify opportunities for disruptive technologies that can differentiate our products in the market; Grow product line profitably, develop customer relationships, and drive new technology/product development projects.

Building Effective teams:

Define and monitor KPIs that measure the success of display products in the market and drive continuous improvement; Nurture and develop a high-performing product management team, providing mentorship and growth opportunities to foster a culture of excellence.

Change Management and Global Impact:

Lead organization through transitions and changes in display technology paradigms, ensuring that teams are well-prepared to adapt and excel in a rapidly evolving landscape; Recognize the global nature of the mobility industry and tailor product strategies to address the unique needs and preferences of diverse markets and cultures; Champion the creation of displays that provide intuitive, safe, and engaging interactions for users within mobility contexts; Drive innovation in both engineering and marketing of the products

Key Performance Indicators:

Support sales and product line profitability; Customer Engagement & Satisfaction; Defining product roadmaps aligned to organization objectives; Achieve cost competitiveness; Competitor Analysis; Business Model Development.

Key Year One Deliverables:

Market share growth for Display product line - Generate RFI and sales, work on RFQs, and ultimately win business; Drive technology & feature competitiveness of product lines; Develop ecosystem – Collaborate with relevant stakeholders for the Display product line, and develop a joint "go to market" strategy; Build talent house – Mentor and Coach team to drive initiatives and achieve desired results; Creation of Visteon Display Roadmap; Engaging with Display Suppliers to drive market-recognized technology; Engaging with Customer Business Groups to understand their needs and provide targeted solutions; Developing product value propositions; Support sales and profitability goals for the product line.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline/engineering degree; 12+ years of successful experience in related engineering/product development; Minimum of 5 years of experience working at automotive OEM or tier-n focusing on designing ADAS systems; Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience with significant global exposure; Minimum 3 years of product management experience, automotive cockpit electronics experience is desired; Deep understanding of the system, software, hardware, and other technologies critical to the product line; Knowledge of current and evolving semiconductor technologies and their impact on chipset architecture; Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO 26262), SOTIF, NCAP, and other Regulatory safety standards; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams; Strong business acumen and a customer-focused mindset.
