For over 50 years, Evonik Oxeno GmbH & Co. KG has been a major producer of C4 chemicals for over 50 years.
In our two independent integrated production facilities in Marl (Germany) and Antwerp (Belgium), we mainly process high-quality plastics, coatings and lubricants. Our products are used, for example, in the home and leisure sector as well as in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
We attach particular importance to resource-conserving production, continuously improve our processes and use new technologies to ensure a sustainable C4 Chemicals business.
As a Key Accountant (m/f/d) Fixed Assets, we offer you an attractive salary including various bonuses such as vacation pay and profit sharing. Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities in asset accounting and preparing the statement of changes in fixed assets You are the contact person for internal and external enquiries for asset accounting You check investment applications for their capitalisation eligibility or obligation in accordance with IFRS and HGB You will carry out analyses and create reports You will enquire about the operational readiness of ongoing investment projects and create or carry out detailed postings You plan and organise asset inventories and maintain the inventory guidelines You support and develop special projects that are relevant to asset accounting You continuously optimise processes and ensure the quality of asset accountingRequirements
You have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or have completed commercial training as an accountant You have at least two years of professional experience in finance and accounting, especially in asset accounting And have excellent knowledge in the realisation of fixed assets, also in accordance with IFRS and HGB You are proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP, in particular the R/3 FI module You also have a strong understanding of figures, analytical skills and work in a structured and conscientious manner You have very good written and spoken German and English skills You drive projects forward on your own initiative and convince others of your ideas Communication and co-operation skills as well as the ability to work in a team round off your profile-
