Job Description

As a Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our solar projects and feasibility studies while empowering and expanding a dynamic, young team. You’ll have the opportunity to shape and mature projects for sale to institutional investors and secure debt financing. ´

Your responsibilities will include leading negotiations, defining streamlined processes, and presenting exciting projects to municipalities and landowners. With your extensive Solar PV experience and a proactive approach to decision-making, you will inspire confidence and foster progress. Your leadership will be key in coordinating efforts with local stakeholders to ensure the successful siting of solar power plants and the overall success of our initiatives.

  • Monitor and develop projects under development, from pre-feasibility through to authorized and priced projects;
  • Design economically viable projects within the framework of procedures and regulations, in consultation with local stakeholders;
  • Obtaining or supervising the obtaining of all administrative authorizations. To this end, the Project Manager coordinates, with the partners, the environmental impact studies (including thematic studies with the help of the Regulatory Unit) and the technical studies for sizing the projects (solar deposit, connection to the grid, etc.), which requires him/her to coordinate any action taken by local partners and external service providers, while ensuring that the study budgets for each project are respected;
  • Initiating, organising and leading working and presentation meetings, and ensuring that local project stakeholders are consulted and kept informed (preliminary scoping, monitoring committee);
  • Participating in technical, regulatory and forward-looking commercial monitoring, in particular by taking part in events related to the business sectors and building up a local network;
  • Reporting on activity via the monthly activity report and monitoring tools;
  • Drawing up budget forecasts for projects (studies, then investment) in conjunction with the Group's departments, and monitoring invoicing;
  • Contribute to improving the Group's solar power plant projects and feedback;
  • Manage the scope of projects with a high degree of autonomy within the framework of the defined objectives and take on the role of referent under the responsibility of your manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the development of renewable energy projects, ideally photovoltaic projects;
  •  Experience in leading a team;
  • Willingness to mentor and share knowledge with younger team members;
  • Ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar situations;
  • Structured working approach;
  • You have a passion for new energies, good technical knowledge and a thorough understanding of the administrative procedures required to successfully complete industrial-scale projects (private or public sector);
  • Willingness to travel and a driving license is essential;
  • Fluency in German, both spoken and written, is required.
