Global Category Manager Automotive Packages

Your responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor the global category strategy  Provide guidance to the Category Buyers and support them in achieving defined goals Define targets for negotiations Responsible for global contract negotiations Leading the category team functionally and strengthen the category network within the FUCHS group Analyzing and optimizing suppliers as well as raw materials portfolios and derive appropriate measures Managing suppliers strategically

Qualifications we are looking for:

Completed studies with a focus on business, industrial engineering or chemistry Experience in strategic procurement / category management in a regional or global set-up or in a similar position like B2B Sales, ideally in the automotive industry High sense of responsibility and ability to work independently Goal-oriented way of working with strong strategic thinking skills  Collaborative personality with excellent communication skills and persuasiveness through different hierarchical levels to balance different interests in global matrix organizations Proactive, determined, structured and solution-oriented approach to work Business fluent in German and English and willingness to travel internationally
