With global product responsibility in the industrial steam turbine network, our team is based at the Görlitz and Mülheim an der Ruhr locations.You will work on the design and optimization of high-, medium- and low-pressure steam turbine blades. Design the roadmap for the further development of blading and the necessary technologies with us. The large number of interfaces to other areas such as purchasing, production, assembly, order processing, offers and sales give you exciting insights into our company. How You’ll Make an Impact  Part of the product and technology development for the complete blading path of industrial steam turbines The focus of the work is the design of the high-pressure, medium-pressure and low-pressure steam turbine blades Actively participate in the development of the blades and keep an eye on production-relevant aspects and production costs First point of contact for internal and external production and assembly and support the development of solutions in the event of manufacturing deviations Support the creation and further development of design instructions and rules What You Bring University degree in the field of design engineering, mechanical engineering or similar Many years of professional experience in the field of blade design, preferably using Siemens NX Very good knowledge of the design of the functional components and assemblies of the blade path In-depth knowledge of mechanical processing of components and manufacturing technologies in general Experience in interpreting the simulation results and deriving the design measures is desirable Proficient in German and English Enjoy working in a dynamic team with transparent and open communication
