We now have a very exciting opportunity for you to join our team to provide daily support to the Marine Power, Parts & Services Field Service Engineers. As a Field Service Coordinator, you will be embedded into providing excellent support for our customer and colleagues by ensuring the smooth running of activities of our Field Services teams. 

This is a permanent role and is located in Hamburg Germany (Schlenzigstrasse)

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

Responsible for the successful coordination relating to Field Service activities.  Ensure all service work under your control is correctly executed with proper utilization of labor to maintain a high quality of service. Liaise with service engineers, monitoring to ensure that jobs will be completed as per quotation. Review service reports related to the project and ensure follow ups are conducted in timely and professional manner. Provide support in managing customer enquiries related to Engineer Service. Promote a close liaison with Account Managers & Sales Support Team to ensure best possible delivery of service to the customer. Inform internal and external stakeholders such as the customer, sales spare parts and account manager, regarding required support. Identify and implement improvements through cost efficient means. Attend customer site visits with internal stakeholders and communicate effectively with on-site teams relative to the service job.

What do we expect from you?

A technical background, preferably within a service position is desirable but not essential. Demonstrable ability to communicate & solve problems effectively.  Structured, good attention to detail and self-motivated You will have an excellent customer understanding. Recognized Engineering qualification, or equivalent experience. Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally.

Was sind Ihre Hauptaufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten?

Verantwortlich für die erfolgreiche Koordination der Field Service-Aktivitäten. Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Servicearbeiten unter Ihrer Kontrolle korrekt ausgeführt werden und die Arbeitskräfte ordnungsgemäß eingesetzt werden, um eine hohe Servicequalität aufrechtzuerhalten. Arbeiten Sie mit Servicetechnikern zusammen und überwachen Sie, um sicherzustellen, dass die Aufträge gemäß dem Angebot ausgeführt werden. Überprüfen Sie Serviceberichte im Zusammenhang mit dem Projekt und stellen Sie sicher, dass Follow-ups zeitnah und professionell durchgeführt werden. Unterstützung bei der Verwaltung von Kundenanfragen im Zusammenhang mit Engineer Service. Fördern Sie eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Account Managern und dem Sales Support Team, um den bestmöglichen Service für den Kunden zu gewährleisten. Informieren Sie interne und externe Stakeholder wie den Kunden, den Vertrieb, die Ersatzteile und den Kundenbetreuer über den erforderlichen Support. Identifizieren und implementieren Sie Verbesserungen mit kosteneffizienten Mitteln. Nehmen Sie an Kundenbesuchen vor Ort mit internen Stakeholdern teil und kommunizieren Sie effektiv mit den Teams vor Ort in Bezug auf den Serviceauftrag.

Was erwarten wir von Ihnen?

Ein technischer Hintergrund, vorzugsweise im Rahmen einer Serviceposition, ist wünschenswert, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich. Nachweisbare Fähigkeit, effektiv zu kommunizieren und Probleme zu lösen. Strukturiert, viel Liebe zum Detail und Eigenmotivation Sie verfügen über ein ausgezeichnetes Kundenverständnis. Anerkannte technische Qualifikation oder gleichwertige Erfahrung. Bereitschaft und Fähigkeit, national und international zu reisen.
