We are looking for an Analyst Regulatory Reporting to join the Banking & Regulation (B&R) team in the Controlling & Risk Management department of RWE AG as soon as possible. The B&R team is responsible for the RWE Group's regulatory reporting to national and international supervisory authorities. We work very closely with the Group's trading unit, RWE Supply and Trading GmbH (RWEST), with a direct reporting line to its Head of Risk. RWEST, with its global trading portfolio, is our largest customer.

Daily work on regulatory (transaction) reporting requirements (e.g. EMIR, CFTC, REMIT,...)Participation in projects to improve reporting processes and structuresYou will be the team's internal interface with our Embedded IT and REMIT customers and the product owner for our in-house developed REMIT RRM system - CRSReview and implementation of new EU / US energy regulations regarding transaction reportingMaintenance and development of reporting structures for reporting obligations to national (BNetzA, statistical agencies) and international regulatory authorities for physical and derivative business in various commodities (esp. power, coal, oil, gas, LNG, CO2 certificates)Regular transaction reporting for RWEST to BNetzA and regulators in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Hungary, Poland and other countriesInternal communication with front office, back office, legal, IT and representatives of national and international authorities and ministriesDocumentation of processes and procedures

Your powerful skills

You have a degree in Business Informatics / Administration and/or similar work experience as an IT Business Analyst in the energy and/or banking sectorYou have a good understanding of IT structures (e.g. databases, frameworks) and are able to analyse business processes and translate them into IT requirementsYou enjoy working with data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI) and have programming experience (e.g. Python)You enjoy working internationally and have a good command of German (written and spoken) and English (written and spoken) – minimum level B2 in both languagesA proactive, independent, structured and goal-oriented approach to work is one of your strengthsTeam player with good communication skills

Advantageous, but not a must

Basic knowledge of financial or physical market regulationsEnergy specific knowledge (particularly in relation to energy regulation, products & trading)Experience with ETRM systems (e.g. Openlink Endur)
