The role
Are you ready to ignite a revolution as the Staff Product Manager in our Global Payments Tribe? The Global Payments team operates at HelloFresh group level and is responsible for the entire Payments domain in all business lines: from payment processing around our subscription model working with leading global payment providers, to ensuring customers are able to pay seamlessly with their preferred payment method and managing customer profitability through payment initiatives impacting retention.
In this role, you will be our leading Staff Product Manager owning the entire Payments platform, integrating globally-leading Payment providers as well as local heros and ensuring highest payment acceptance rates across all our business lines with significant P&L impact. You will be defining the long-term vision for our platform, set data-driven roadmaps to get there and own technical delivery of new features, all in close collaboration with the Engineering team, our global Marketing, Finance, External Partners and other HelloFresh Product teams. This is a strategic leadership role that will elevate all HelloFresh brands and owns critical deliverables to ensure future scalability of our Payment infrastructure, and hence we are looking for a strong leader with deep technical skills and a strong understanding of the Payments system landscape in Europe and the US/Canada to drive the right investments in the next few years.
What you’ll do
Discover , Plan, and Articulate a long-term vision for the Payments platform and necessary capabilities to support long-term future growth, efficiency and seamless integration with Payments partners. Own the multi-year roadmap of how to deliver against the long-term vision and generate measurable P&L impact from the payments platform. This includes ownership of our key metric Payment Acceptance Rate with the main goal to drive customer retention and lifetime value. Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from discovery to execution, including defining problems, sizing the opportunity, identifying the best solution, coordinating tech design and development efforts, supporting user testing, and ensuring successful product delivery together with your engineering team. Setup a robust tracking & reporting infrastructure to monitor platform performance and improvement areas. Evaluate and manage partnerships with Payment Providers and bring in market benchmarks to set up our future partnership roadmap and support negotiations together with our Procurement teams. Collaborate effectively to ensure alignment, obtain buy-in, and drive successful implementation of product initiatives. Engage with product managers from various tribes in the organization, influencing their roadmaps to achieve collective success. Work closely with your stakeholders in Finance & Marketing to understand their needs and requirements and ensure both operationally and technologically we are aligned on the vision and moving towards it in alignment. Set up processes to work with an agile team and use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, drive product optimizations, and report on the effectiveness of implemented strategies. Provide guidance and support to foster collaboration, growth, and a culture of innovation among the HelloFresh Product team
What you’ll bring
7+ years of professional experience in Product and Payments at a consumer facing or Payments/Financial Services company, with a focus on platform development and provider integrations Experience working in complex technology environments, defining technical platform requirements and managing wider migration efforts in the domain of payment processing and optimization of recurring/subscription-based payments or e-commerce transactions. Natural problem-solver, with a strong history of leading product discovery, solving meaningful customer and business problems, and delivering scalable solutions. Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, translating market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning into actionable product plans and conversion funnel strategies. A product mindset with proven impact from relentless prioritization, platform product development, customer obsessions and analytical rigor. Great communication skills - communicates the results of Payments initiatives to various audience levels such as internal and external business stakeholders, country leadership, senior management etc.
