Focus of the role:

As a global Salesforce Marketing Clod Product Owner, you will take on a pivotal role in our Salesforce Marketing Cloud domain and even investigate into potential Data Cloud use cases, leading the technical direction and execution in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment. Reporting directly to the global Lead for CRM & Applications, you primarily focus on addressing complex technical challenges, harnessing your advanced technical expertise to enhance the effectiveness of the team.

You will be on the one hand supporting the global OneCRM initiative, helping bring all countries and business units on one Marketing Cloud platform and on the other hand, trying to keep the local systems “alive” and ensure, from a Governance perspective, that all we do in the interim is in the best sense of our OneCRM harmonization strategy. Training & supporting end-users, as well as enhancing the system to the users’ needs and requirements will be one of your key responsibility as a global Salesforce Marketing Cloud Product Owner.

Your assignments

Operate and enhance the existing Salesforce Marketing Clouds and support the overall implementation of the OneCRM Marketing Cloud instance across all of Fresenius Kabi regions and Business Units Act as the primary technical decision maker within the team, overseeing technical design of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and features developed by the Salesforce Marketing Cloud team. Work closely with stakeholders to define Salesforce features, enhancements, and improvements. Provide technical mentorship to other team members, guiding them through complex problems, promoting their technical growth, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team. Guide architectural decision-making to craft complex Marketing Cloud solutions that respond adeptly to multifaceted marketing needs. Maintain and prioritize the requirements backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Track and evaluate key performance metrics related to efficiency, quality, and project deadlines, promptly addressing any deviations. Develop a product roadmap for the leveraged Salesforce Marketing Cloud(s) Collaborate with IT developers, regional admins and Salesforce as a vendor and set up a regular release management process for our OneCRM Marketing Cloud instance in conjunction with the global release plan. Stay up to date with Salesforce capabilities, best practices, and industry trends

Your profile

5+ years of professional experience preferred in the Pharma/ Life Science industry, preferably in CRM focused and commercial-oriented roles. Proven track record in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development, demonstrating expertise in the platform’s capabilities and customization. 3+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Consultant, Product Owner, or Admin are a plus University degree business administration, economics, or similar field, preferably MBA or PhD Deep understanding of marketing automation principles and Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices. Experience in leading technical decisions and projects, with a proven ability to meet business objectives and timelines. Profound experience as a Marketing Cloud Product Owner is a plus. Salesforce Admin Certification is preferred (Business Analyst certification a plus) More Salesforce Certifications are preferred such as: Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant, Field Service Consultant, Marketing Cloud Admin/Consultant Independent, process- and result-oriented way of working. Excellent communication and presentation skills Fluency in the English language is required, any additional languages are an advantage. Intercultural experience and willingness to travel internationally
