At Mercedes-Benz, we combine luxury, innovation, safety and quality in automotive engineering. In our department for Production Planning Body Parts (PP/KT) at the Sindelfingen site, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the planning of production processes, components and assemblies (ZBs) worldwide.
We plan all steel and aluminum sheet metal parts, hot-formed high-strength steel components, tube parts, die-cast aluminum parts, extruded aluminum profiles and other technologies that are used in the body-in-white. We carry out these planning activities not only for the aforementioned locations in Germany, but also for all Mercedes-Benz body plants worldwide, such as Tuscaloosa (USA), Kecskemét (Hungary) and East London (South Africa). China and Mexico are also included, but have different planning depths due to their joint venture status.

Your tasks:
Creating an overview of which information is collected in the process for manufacturing body parts up to and including the surface treatment process Analyzing which process information is useful in subsequent or preceding processes Identifying "blind spots" in the information chain Creation of recommended actions for data collection and continuous data processing using the example of an existing car body part Creation of a specification sheet for data collection and processing Documentation and presentation of the results to the management team Qualifikationen Degree course with a technical focus on mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering or a comparable degree course Previous knowledge in the field of body shell production or body part production is an advantage Ability to work independently Confident written and spoken German and English skills Confident handling of MS Office Creative way of thinking and strategic way of working High level of technical understanding Ability to present complex technical issues in an appealing and understandable way Commitment, very good teamwork and communication skillsWe offer you:
