We are looking for a passionate Audio Visual Engineer (f/m/d) to join our global Technology & Operations team in our headquarters in Berlin. As an AV Engineer, operating within our global Service Delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring BMG’s global AV from a support, architecture and platform perspective; ultimately ensuring that we are providing a great experience for our users. In this position, a passion for customer support and audio engineering is key. You will be working with many different IT teams, external vendors, business units, and stakeholders. As such, communication skills and great emotional intelligence are key to success.
Your Tasks
Ensure that all incidents, problems and service requests affecting AV/MS-Teams are resolved Contribute to problem management by identifying root causes, remediation actions and additional incident information Ensure that the global AV infrastructure is proactively monitored and maintained Contribute to knowledge management by creating and maintaining support/how-to articles for your colleagues and customers Support customers both remotely and on-site Ensure all assigned tickets are processed, updated and resolved Collaborate with field engineers to visit customers/employees if the problem is more seriousYour Skillset
You have successfully completed a professional education or equivalent in an IT-related field You are an expert is AV/VC platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom ITIL V3/4 Foundation certificate or experience working within ITIL based frameworks is desirable, but not mandatory You are a team player with a focus on a customer-oriented mindset and approach You enjoy working independently You already have IT Service Desk or IT operations experience Ideally, you have working knowledge in TCP/IP networking and routing, end user desktop support/setup Your communication skills are very good, including creation of user documentation and technical documentation Fluent English language skills are essentialWhat We offer
