Our PT/SUM department is responsible for operational environmental protection and sustainability, the environmental and occupational safety management system, including the safeguarding of officer functions and safety-related support for the site, including the ergonomics coordination function. The continuous positive development of the work areas is an integral part of the corporate strategy.
In the occupational safety and immission control team, we support various functions at the site with regard to the fulfillment of immission control tasks and obligations. One focus here is on plants requiring approval. The tasks range from noise and pollutant monitoring and permit management to the implementation of requirements from the Hazardous Incident Ordinance.
You will face these challenges:
You will contribute your experience of environmental law issues, procedural and production engineering processes and specialist knowledge of environmental protection issues to the following topics:
Developing and maintaining strategies and systems to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Major Accidents Act Design and further development of processes relevant to immission control (approval, expert opinion control, monitoring of emissions and immissions), e.g. nd BImSchV Preparation of hazardous substance and incident-related risk analyses and derivation of suitable safety concepts Further development of the noise protection strategy with the accredited noise measurement body Communicating with authorities and conducting training courses Developing new methods, procedures and standards in the context of the environment/sustainability Leading cross-functional projects (full project management) QualifikationenIdeally you are qualified for this job with:
Completed studies in environmental or process engineering, chemical engineering or comparable courses of study Relevant professional experience Knowledge of process and production engineering processes, also with regard to their environmental relevance and risks Knowledge and experience in dealing with environmental and immission control requirements Knowledge of substance-related risks and classifications and assessments in accordance with hazardous substances legislationPersonal skills:
