Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for performing physical, chemical and electrochemical characterizations of electrocatalysts
You investigate the electrochemical stability of various carbon-supported electrocatalysts
You are part of the development of catalyst ink formulations for the use in a Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE) setup
The assembly of a RDE setup and preparation of the catalyst layer coatings for their evaluation is also part of your tasks
You design experiments, data evaluation and presentation of test results
Qualifications:
You are a Master student of chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, or a similar field
You have first laboratory experience in the field of chemistry and safe and responsible handling of hazardous chemicals
You already already have some knowledge of electrochemistry or fuel cells through lectures or internships and experience in synthesis (organic or inorganic) is very desirable
You are self-motivated, possess an independent working style with high commitment and enjoy working in a team environment and engaging in scientific discussions
You have good knowledge of spoken and written English and German
