We're seeking a talented Robotics Deployment Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the quality assurance, release process, testing, and troubleshooting for our autonomous trash picking robots as we expand our operations to various cities this year.

This role requires fluent German skills, as communication with our German customers is required.

Tasks

Als Robotics Deployment Engineer bist du die Schnittstelle zwischen Entwicklung und Operations und sowohl vertraut mit der Technologie als auch dem täglichen Betrieb bei Kunden. Du sorgst dafür, dass neue Komponenten sinnvoll auf dem Roboter funktionieren und dass die Roboter vor Ort einen guten Job machen.

Schwerpunkte im Frühling/Sommer, unserer Hauptsaison:

  • Aufbau, Inbetriebnahme und Auslieferung von Robotern (zusammen mit dem Customer-Success-Team)
  • Technisches Management unseres Dashboards und Ansprechpartner für First Responder, die 7-12 Uhr das Dashboard überwachen
  • Erkennung, Diagnose und Dokumentation von Fehlern, sowie technische Behebung aus der Ferne
  • Technischer Support für Kunden bei Bedarf (Telefon)
  • Parallel Einarbeitung in die Funktionsweise des Roboters

Schwerpunkte im Herbst/Winter:

  • Übernahme der Ownership über den Release und QA-Prozess (technisch und organisatorisch). Wie werden neue Software-Versionen deployed? Wie und wann wird was getestet? Was ist die Pipeline für erkannte Probleme?
  • Entwicklung von Test-Benches für kontinuierliches Integration Testing indoor (interdisziplinär)
  • Development- und Testing-Tickets (Beispiel: Zwei GNSS-Module datenbasiert vergleichen)
  • Aussteuerung von Werkstudierenden zum kontinuierlichen Testen der Roboter
Requirements
  • Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch
  • Bachelor in Informatik oder vergleichbarem
  • Erfahrung in einer ähnlichen Rolle, idealerweise mobiler Robotik
  • Gutes Verständnis von Robotik inklusive Sensoren, Aktuatoren, Netzwerken
  • Sehr gute Fähigkeiten in Python, Git und Robotik-Frameworks wie ROS2
  • Du bist clever und ein exzellenter Problemlöser
  • Effektive Kommunikationsfähigkeiten mit der Fähigkeit in einem interdisziplinärem Team mit sowohl technischen als auch nicht-technischen Stakeholdern zusammenzuarbeiten
  • Interesse zu reisen und diverse Arbeitsumgebungen kennenzulernen
