About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Robotics Software Engineer to join our team at FRANKA ROBOTICS GmbH. As a key member of our international team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge robotic products, driving advancements in motion control and automation.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing advanced software components for Franka robots, focusing on motion generation, planning, and control algorithms.
  • Ensuring the scalability and maintainability of our software components, guaranteeing seamless integration and performance.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in mechatronics, robotics, or electrical engineering.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge in motion generation, robotics dynamics, or control theory.
  • Profound expertise in software development, including C/C++, Python, and experience with open-source Robot Operating System (ROS & ROS2).
  • Demonstrate 5+ years of hands-on experience in dynamic robotics development.
  • Additional desirable skills include:
  • AGILE development methodologies.
  • Embedded or real-time software development.
  • CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with mechatronics systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards.
