Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
The "Mercedes Benz Digital Factory" (PP/DPF) department within the "Digitalization Processes and Automation" center is responsible for testing digital applications for production, qualifying partners in the plants and rolling out the applications in the Mercedes-Benz AG assembly plants worldwide. The "Digitalization Production Technology" team is responsible within the department network for achieving high-quality applications for the production systems based on the "integra" standard of the assembly plants.
Tasks:
Your core task is to deal with simulation models and methods. You will build up basic knowledge and carry out initial research analyses for various simulation tools using physical models and numerical calculations. The aim is to demonstrate the use of selected system models on the basis of a use case. To this end, you will coordinate closely with the various colleagues from the specialist departments on concepts and implement them independently. This gives you the opportunity to apply the basic knowledge from your studies in practice.
Additional information:
The job is to be completed full-time approx. h/week, mobile working (home office) is also possible in some cases.
Qualifikationen Degree course: Mechanical engineering, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or a comparable degree course Language skills: Proficient in written and spoken German or English Confident handling of MS Office such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint Initial experience in system modeling e.g. with Matlab/Simulink, Databricks or similar is desirable Personal skills: Analytical and conceptual ability, goal and result orientation, ability to work in a team, communication skills, structured way of working as well as technical and procedural understanding are an advantageAdditional information:
