Recare is the technology partner for optimal discharge management. With its Software-as-a-Service platform, the company enables simple and efficient discharge and transition processes for patients who require further care after their hospital stay. With the acquisition of Pflegeplatzmanager GmbH in the summer of 2023, the digital marketplace expands to include 700 acute care hospitals, 650 rehabilitation clinics, and 24,000 additional service providers in the fields of nursing and medical supplies/homecare. Recare was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Berlin.

Tasks

This is how you will make an impact as a Senior Business Development Manager:

  • You report directly to the CEO and the Chief of Staff in your role.
  • You develop and evaluate new business fields, business and monetization models, as well as potential marketplace expansions.
  • You conduct business casing for identified opportunities.
  • You prepare opportunities for the C-level/investor decision-making process and present them.
  • You take initiative in market exploration, knowledge transfer to relevant departments, and networking with all relevant stakeholders for us.
  • You manage projects in the business development area from opportunity to product release.
  • You coordinate feasibility assessments of new verticals in close collaboration with Product, Legal, and Tech.
  • You establish and further develop a professional business development process.
Requirements

Your profile:

  • You have gathered a comprehensive market understanding in the field of digitalization in the German healthcare sector, along with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • You have acquired strong financial competencies through a degree in economics or relevant practical experience.
  • You possess detailed expertise in the German DRG system and hospital economics.
  • Experience in consulting hospitals or other healthcare facilities would be a plus.
  • You have experience in managing multi-million Euro BD pipelines.
  • You are familiar with the technical feasibility of digitization projects in regulated markets as well as compliance in data protection and security.
  • You have experience in business casing, capacity planning, and project management.
  • You can develop, apply, and over time evaluate and improve our own BD processes.
  • You have a relevant stakeholder network.
  • You speak fluent German and at least very good English.

Der primäre Anwendungsfall ist dabei das Krankenhausentlassmanagement - also wenn Patient*innen nach einem stationären Krankenhausaufenthalt eine Nachversorgung benötigt.
