Summary

For the department “Logistics Management” we are looking for a “Project Manager Outbound Logistics (f/m/d)” at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The area is functionally responsible for the global logistics planning team and providing guidance and leadership to ensure the successful execution of logistics planning processes including the negotiation with the logistics provider for HENSOLDT.

Your Tasks

Taking on extensive project management activities and the “outbound planning” sub-project in the “New Alb warehouse construction”, Logistics2024 and oneSAP projects and transferring the results as part of the rollouts

Design of information flow, material flow and organizational processes, taking into account the end-to-end processes for the logistics components

Working closely with the project teams and internal and external interfaces

Ensuring the business requirements in the S4 HANA transformation project and designing them in the respective SAP modules

Extensive coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders such as logistics management, programs, customer service, purchasing, finance, logistics service providers, freight forwarders and authorities

Technical management and coordination of transportation network planning and outbound packaging planning

Monitoring of timely processing by operational logistics departments

Setting up monitoring and regular reporting (including KPI / PPI and reporting)

Development of forecasting and monitoring of timely processing

Creation of SOW e.g. for software tools, framework agreements, transportation planning, support RfQ processes

Creating training courses, preparing and conducting training sessions

Willingness to travel to HENSOLDT locations and logistics partners is required.

Your Profile

Degree in economics, logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, business informatics or similar

Extensive, long-term experience in managing complex outbound tasks and creating requirements catalogs, ideally across different programs

Experience in the technical management and motivation of teams

Experience in logistics planning

Very good process knowledge and experience in the logistics planning of a manufacturing company and its integration into end-to-end processes 

Very good knowledge of MS Office applications

Sound knowledge of SAP modules, particularly in the area of materials management and logistics execution (EWM, SD, TM)

Analytical thinking, independent, structured and efficient way of working

Assertiveness, good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Comprehensive knowledge of German and fluent English skills
