Job Description To manage and coordinate all safety activities in order to provide optimal operating conditions for the site and to make sure the site stays operational You will be required to support all areas of the business regarding environmental regulations and ensuring a safety-first culture, where safety behavior is key You will provide training where necessary You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data records and statistics, and using the information to provide analysis and solutions Advice and assist the employer, the line management and the employees applying all legal safety regulations with the welfare of the employees, as well all the internal processes and procedures Assist them also in applying all necessary precaution measures in line with company´s policies and procedures Create, control and follow up every aspect related to internal action plans to achieve targets on Health and Safety of the site and its supervised locations Develop and maintain our sustainability strategy to improve the environmental footprint of manufacturing You are one of the SHE Managers of a global team

Qualifications

This position requires a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Economic Science ( industrial engineer, commercial engineer, etc.) or equivalent Safety management experience in an industrial environment (Safety Expert) 5-8 years experience in environmental science with special affinity in sustainability or safety General technical and human behaviour knowledge is required to be able to communicate to the different specialists in the organization Good knowledge in Quality Systems ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 22000 & GMP standards Safety procedures and behaviour based safety systems, machine and chemical safety Computer skills: proficient in MS Office and SAP Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills in German and English, verbally as well as written
