RESPONSIBILITIES

In our unit Global Business Management Hydrogenation & Specialty Catalysts we promote and sell catalysts based on a profound market research. We develop and advertise new products to drive sustainable innovations together with our customers.

As a Technology Manager, you assist customers in selecting the appropriate catalyst and/or technology, offering troubleshooting support in collaboration with the Commercial Account Manager. You prepare technical proposals and quotations, considering design, performance, warranties, and liabilities. In cases where performance warranties are offered, you develop warranty offers, including price proposals, in alignment with the Global Marketing Manager. Your role involves generating and presenting market and customer-driven ideas for incremental innovations, driving the opportunity management process internally, and developing solutions. Additionally, you actively gather and document intelligence on technology, customers, and competitors, drive new product launches, explore new applications for existing products and support R&D activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

PhD or Master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering 5 years or more of technical experience in the field of chemical catalysts is an advantage preferably experience with customer interaction good communication skills and ability to work across organizational boundaries
