We’re looking for a Operations Coordinator to join our team in Munich, Germany on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Your role as Operations Coordinator at Westfalia Fruit plays a crucial role in the expansion and daily running of the Operations team. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. The Operations Coordinator assists with vendor coordination, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the company’s operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Daily Operations: Assist in the coordination and execution of daily operational tasks, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between various departments (e.g., logistics, customer service, and procurement) to facilitate effective communication and resolve operational issues.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of operations data, including updating systems and generating reports as required.
  • Problem Solving: Help identify and troubleshoot operational issues, proposing solutions to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Ensure all operational procedures and processes are documented and up to date.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Support adherence to health and safety standards within the operational environment.
  • Team Support: Provide general administrative support to the operations team as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience in operations, logistics, or a similar role is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in 'Lean Management' is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced, changeable environment.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential.
